Unfortunately Dave Stevens was to ill to attend this event and I want to wish him a speedy recovery. He was missed. I also included some never before seen pictures of my harness for those of you looking to build one for yourself! It is as screen accurate (Thanks to RocketBob) as I could get and works better than anything I have tried in the past! Mostly because of the custom molded back plate inside. Best wishes and best of luck to all here at Finhead Central! Chris I would like to take this time to thank those involved in helping make this outfit come together... Wested Leather for the wonderful jacket Master Replicas for the awesome helmet MotorCowboy for the great boots Monsters In Motion for the fantastic kit of the jetpack RocketBob for all of the amazing photos of the harness, jetpack, and gauntlets that helped me to build my own replicas Evan for his personal website on his trials of building the jetpack This is not a costume to attempt without help from good friends and fellow fans of The Rocketeer!!!

I have no plans at all to sell it. Eventually I would like to put it on display in my house with the rest of my work. Sorry.

The pants are known as jodhpurs the website to buy them is www.1aiel.com/theatrX.htm they will cost around $90. What other pieces of the costume do you have?

That is going to be the largest challange I face, and I have to admit that you've done some things that I've thought of doing (using velcro instead of buckles). Can you tell me what the black plastic "shell" does for your harness? I assume it helps you keep it's shape? I'd love to see a tutorial on the whole harness... Lonnie

The backplate gave it better control to keep the rocketpack sturdy and kinda kept it from sagging a little....
